Client
Great Energy: our own coaching and course business, run by Christopher Grant and Daniela Hess. Five live properties sit under it: greatenergy.org, learnqigong.com, effortlessmeditation.org, themidlifementor.org, and the Autoimmune Recovery Method. No marketing department, no support staff. Two people.
Challenge
Five separately hosted sites need the same things every week: new content, a working SEO loop, social posts that actually go out, photos that don't repeat, and media pitches that go somewhere. Doing that by hand across five properties means one of two things happens. Either the sites go quiet, or the two people running the business stop doing the work they're actually good at.
Approach
- Once a blog post publishes, it distributes itself to 16-plus destinations (Medium, Substack, LinkedIn, Facebook Pages and Groups, Reddit, and more), with a version written for each platform instead of one copy pasted everywhere.
- A Google Search Console-driven SEO loop that runs on a cadence, not a one-time audit: pull the data, find the weak or missing pages, close the gap, verify it worked.
- Scheduled social posting across six platforms at once through a single tool, with link-preview images pulled automatically instead of uploaded by hand for every post.
- A nightly stock-photo refresh that keeps the image pool current and resized to fit each site's own upload limits, so no one is hunting for a usable photo at 9pm.
- A daily content series ("Tech Tips with Christopher") that runs on its own schedule, and ongoing media-pitch monitoring for earned press coverage.
Result
What changed is not any single metric. It's that content now goes out on a schedule instead of when someone finds an hour. A blog post like "Qigong for Yoga Teachers" publishes once and reaches 16-plus destinations without either of us manually reposting it anywhere. That's the actual win: the work happens whether or not we remembered to do it that day.
