Client
The Extraordinary Yoga Teacher (EYT) Summit: a 14-day collaborative interview series Christopher Grant and Daniela Hess built and ran to reach yoga teachers with Qigong, a practice most of them had never heard of.
Challenge
Reaching a specific, qualified audience fast usually means one of two paths: a slow organic build, or real ad spend against a niche where you don't yet have proof it converts. Neither fit what a two-person team wanted here. The audience existed already, inside other teachers' communities. The problem was finding the right speakers and doing it without either of us burning a month on manual outreach.
Approach
- Automated research to find and vet 60 speaker candidates, rather than manually searching and cold-emailing one at a time.
- Each interview recording processed into public-facing session copy: a hook-driven title, a description, topic bullets, and quotes, pulled from the actual conversation instead of written from scratch after the fact.
- A scripted run of show that held the same structure across all 14 days: welcome and framing, a real 20-minute live practice, an integration pause, a structured five-beat conversation, and a close, so quality didn't drift by day 10.
- Every speaker's own audience became a referral channel. That's the actual growth mechanism: borrowed authority, not ad targeting.
Result
Sixty speakers, each bringing their own audience into the room, produced 5,000 new subscribers to the Great Energy list, with no ad spend behind it. The list-building came entirely from the partnership model: find the right speakers, make it easy for them to say yes, give their audience a real reason to opt in.
The EYT summit engine.
The automations behind it
| Automation | Cadence | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Speaker research and vetting | Per campaign | Finds and qualifies speaker candidates against the summit's theme before outreach starts. |
| Interview-to-copy processing | Per speaker | Turns a raw interview recording into a title, description, topic bullets, and quotes ready to publish. |
| Run-of-show scripting | Per session | Keeps structure and pacing consistent across every one of the 14 sessions. |
| List-growth tracking | Ongoing | Tracks new subscriber counts against each speaker's promotion, so the referral channel is measurable, not guessed at. |
